PROXY SERVER adalah sejenis penimbal ( buffer ) diantara komputer anda dengan sumber internet yang anda layari [ laman web, arkib FTP, dan sebagainya ]…Data atau maklumat yang anda minta dari internet akan melalui Proxy Server dahulu, kemudian Proxy Server akan menghantar data yang dipinta kepada anda selepas menerima data dari internet. .
Proxy Server juga adalah tempat menyimpan data yang pernah dipinta oleh anda….
